I’ve seen that spirit raising.

While President Barack Obama was addressing America at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, he recognized the young people emerging in leadership roles as his comments began:

“–In so many ways, you are this country’s dreams fulfilled. Earlier generations had to be persuaded that everyone has equal worth. For you, it’s a given — a conviction…  You can give our democracy new meaning. You can take it to a better place. You’re the missing ingredient — the ones who will decide whether or not America becomes the country that fully lives up to its creed.”

William is thankful for President Obama’s continuing advocacy of America’s many smart youthful leaders.  William’s philosophy on

government, ethics, and policy matured while Obama’s comprehensive leadership style fostered inclusive environments that allowed young Americans to stand up for their rights, march, and organize for the purpose of remaking the world as it should be.

When Harry Truman said to John Kennedy we need “someone with greater experience” and added: “May I urge you to be patient”, Kennedy replied: ‘The world is changing.  The old ways will not do.  It’s time for a new generation of leadership.’  Now is again the time for a new generation of leadership.
