Holding a campaign-related event in your home with 15 to 30 of your friends is a fun way to support William without making a contribution. FEC rules allow for you to hold a campaign-related event in your home and to spend up to $1,000 per election on food, beverage and invitations for the event without making a contribution. If you co-host the event in someone else’s home; any expenses paid by the nonresident co-host are considered contributions. Thus, we respectfully request hosts of events be members of the same household. Hosting an event of 15 to 30 eligible contributors could result in $42,000 – 84,000 worth of principal campaign activity. All collected funds will be reported to the FEC and will be used in compliance with federal rule and law for the purpose of promoting democratic values.
